How a job runs, from the permit to the cure
A lot of a concrete job gets decided before the truck shows up. The office that permits your address, an HOA review and the utility lines all decide what happens first. Spring Hill and the Hernando towns around it fall under the Hernando County Building Division, with Public Works handling work in the county right of way. Unincorporated Pasco towns such as Hudson and Shady Hills go to Pasco County Building Construction Services, and the City of Brooksville and New Port Richey run their own offices. Before we dig, Sunshine 811 gets a locate request at least 2 full business days ahead. Then come the base, forms and reinforcement, the pour and finish, and curing, which starts right after finishing. We tell you when you can walk on it and when you can park on it.
